The Pinsk Meat-Packing Plant of the Main Directorate of the Meat Industry of the BSSR, the city of Pinsk, Pinsk Region, began its activities in November 1939 and worked until June 1941.
1944
The enterprise resumed its work a week after the liberation of the city of Pinsk from the German-fascist invaders – on July 22, 1944.
During this year, 89 tons of livestock were processed, meat production was 45 tons, and the production of sausages was only 2 tons.
1947
The plan for the production of sausages for 1947 – 500 tons, assortment – 13 items.
The plant employed 48 people, including 10 people of administrative and managerial personnel.
1964
On the rights of the branch, the Pinsk Meat-Packing Plant accepted the Pinsk Poultry Plant.
1983
The beginning of a large-scale reconstruction of the meat processing plant.
A new building of the meat and fat shop was commissioned.
The construction of a new refrigerator and an administrative building began.
Working conditions, industrial sanitation, and product quality have improved.
1991
Start of export deliveries of products (beef meat, fats and sausages) to the Russian Federation.
1995
On July 11, 1995, the State Patent Committee issued a certificate for the use of the trademark No. 8924.
1997
Start of technical re-equipment of production.
2002
Pinsk Meat-Packing Plant was the first among the meat industry enterprises to be awarded the Prize of the Government of the Republic of Belarus for achievements in the field of quality.
2004
Award of the Brest regional Executive Committee in the field of quality.
The first in Belarus received a certificate of compliance with the quality system for the production of sausages and products from pork and beef in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO-9000.
The enterprise starts production of meat products under a single trademark "PIKANT".
2005
The communal unitary agricultural enterprise «Nevel» was transferred to management. Further, the enterprise becomes a branch of OJSC "Pinsk Meat-Packing Plant".
2006
Beginning of reconstruction and modernization of the Meat-Packing Plant.
A new administrative building was built.
The sausage and culinary shops, the deboning section of the sausage shop were completely reconstructed and re-equipped using modern technological equipment that meets the requirements of world standards.
Reconstruction of the liver department and expansion of the sausage production area, reconstruction of auxiliary buildings.
2009
The construction of the boiler house has been completed. The enterprise started working on its own heat energy.
2011
The creation of a corporate website www.pikant.by.
2015
OJSC "Pinsk Meat-Packing Plant" is included in the system of the Administrative Department of the President of the Republic of Belarus.
2016
Within the framework of the International Exhibition of the Meat Industry "IFFA 2016" (Germany, Frankfurt am Main), the Pinsk Meat-Packing Plant was determined as the best producer of meat products of the Customs Union.
2018
The Pinsk Meat-Packing Plant received a certificate for production compliance with the «Halal» voluntary certification system.
According to the results of its activity, the Pinsk Meat-Packing Plant is one of the ten largest enterprises in the meat industry in Belarus.
An application has been submitted to register the updated "Pikant" trademark with the National Center for Intellectual Property.
2019
Geography of supplies – Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Vietnam, Ukraine, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Germany.
The first book about the history of the Pinsk Meat-Packing Plant was published in a thousand copies.
2020
The historical maximum of sales of sausage products "Pikant" has been reached – 1000 tons per month.
2021
Another annual maximum sales of Pikant sausages - more than 13,000 tons.
2022
Grand Prix in the nomination "Meat products" for a wide range and high quality of products according to the results of the Republican Award "Consumer Market Leader – 2022".
2023
Pinsk Meat Processing Plant received many awards in all nominated categories at the International Tasting Competition for Food Quality “PRODEXPO-2023: Traditions. Quality. Innovation."
Based on the totality of the results of participation in the competition, the diploma “BEST MANUFACTURER” was awarded.
Quality and safety
The quality and safety of products is guaranteed by the manufacturer, as well as by the product quality control system developed by the company.
To ensure the quality and safety of products, the company has introduced and certified:
- quality management system in accordance with the requirements of STB ISO 9001-2015;
- food safety management system based on hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP) in accordance with the requirements of STB 1470-2012;
- food safety management system in accordance with the requirements of STB ISO 22000-2020.
In order to take care of the company's management about the welfare and health of the workers, increase the competitiveness of products, reduce the burden on the environment, the company has implemented and certified:
- environmental management system in accordance with the requirements of STB ISO 14001-2017;
- health and safety management systems in their professional activities in compliance with the requirements of STB ISO 45001-2020.
Demonstrating anti-bribery efforts and controlling the risks of bribery and corruption are critical to protecting a business's reputation and brand value. Thus, the following has been implemented and certified:
- anti-bribery management system in accordance with the requirements of STB ISO 37001-2020.
There is a certificate of production of goods, works and services for compliance with the requirements of voluntary certification "Halal".
Product tests are carried out in the own accredited production laboratory of OJSC "Pinsk Meat-Packing Plant", which meets the criteria of the accreditation system of the Republic of Belarus and is accredited for technical competence in accordance with the requirements of GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2019 (ISO/IEC 17025:2017, IDT) and in other accredited testing laboratories of the Republic of Belarus.
For all manufactured meat products, declarations of compliance with the requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union have been drawn up and registered.
The production of the enterprise, which occupies an area of 10.77 hectares, is equipped with modern high-tech equipment, which makes it possible to produce products of consistently high quality.
